Odar village (2,000 meters) is located in Naso Rural Municipality-4 of Manang district on the Annapurna Circuit trek. There are 30 houses in the Gurung community. It is a beautiful and quiet village.
The main attractions of the village are rural lifestyles, Gurung culture , rock climbing , Namruchyo view point, Thumkharka, honey hunting, Ganesh temple, Shiva temple, Gumba, Chaitya etc.
An hour trek from the village reaches Namruchyo view point from where fascinating view can be witnessed. The villager grows maize, wheat, potatos, beans and green vegetables. They raised sheeps, goats and cattles.
The village is popular for rhododendron and birds where over 107 birds species are found. Established as the It is first community homestay in Manang district established in 2013. Nearly 50 guests can be accommodated in 15 houses. Rice , Dhido , nettle and pumpkin soup are main course of meal. In the evening women and youth group demonstrate folkdances and men performs Krishna charitra.
