We are so happy with our experience with Great Mountain Holidays and are going to be recommending it to all of our friends who are interested in hiking to EBC. The guys at the Kathmandu office were really friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. They organized everything quickly and even had our guide, Raj, come to the office on call to meet us before we had agreed to do the hike with them. Once we booked, Raj took a few hours to take us around Thamel to buy ALL of our gear at an outlet store, saving us probably a lot more money and time than what we would have spent without his help. The whole trip Raj was extremely helpful and encouraging. We joked around and laughed the whole way up the hike which was really awesome when you’re tired from trekking! Our porter, Frame, was a sweet guy from the Lukla area who rarely talked but always had a big smile on. When we got back to Kathmandu the guys at the office made sure that everything went ok on our trip. Their service exceeded our expectations which made the entire hike just that much more enjoyable! Successfully accomplishing the Everest Base Camp trek on 10 September 2015, I would like to share that the trekking trail is open for any interested visitors. One can also notice a flurry of activities as well as construction going on to get ready for the official trekking season. One of the major benefits of trekking to Everest Base Camp is that it is quiet and you will also see few other tourists. The trek also provides a far greater opportunity to interact with local inhabitants. I’d encourage this trip to any trekking enthusiasts and suggest to trek with guide and porter.

I would like to express my big thanks to Great Mountain Holidays for excellently organizing my trip! In March 2015 my reverie came true as I visited The Roof of the World -Everest Base Camp. We were a small group of two. The guide and porter were very friendly and helpful. During the trek we enjoyed good accommodations as almost all lodges had private toilet, and 4 lodges even had hot shower. We also enjoyed very good free breakfast, lunch and dinner during the trek. I also got the chance to savor several different dishes, including local and traditional ones, which were so delicious. Trek was organized promptly, plus, transfer to/from airports (Kathmandu and Lukla) was also on time ! Excellent trekking organization.

I would highly recommend Great Mountain Holidays as it is very good trekking agency with lower prices and excellent services.
