Makalu, the fifth highest mountain on earth is an isolated four-sided peak on the border between Nepal and Tibet (China). It was first scaled by an American expedition in 1954.

Trekking to Everest is a wonderful time to enjoy some of the best mountain sceneries on earth and meet the famous ethnic people of Sherpa and. An interesting flight in the mountains will take you to the Everest Trail and the alpine world. You can reach perhaps the highest viewpoint in the world to view some of the most brilliant views of mountains including Mount Everest. It is a learning opportunity to observe the alpine of life and the Buddhist way of life. Mani walls (prayer wheel) and chhorten and monasteries are seen during the trek. Sacred lakes, waterfalls, and glaciers would meet you regularly during the trek. You will see highland people doing their daily life and observe how friendly people can be despite the challenges in the highlands and the basic amenities they have.

Barun Valley is a rich combination of isolated waterfalls, deep gorges, lush green forest and white icy peaks. The unique landscape, pristine ecosystem and relatively undisturbed human interference make the destination never-to-be forgotten.
