Kaulepani is a beautiful mountain village of Nepal. The village is little above and close to Beshishahar, the district headquarters of Lamjung. There are 25 houses of Gurung, Newar and Bhujel in Kaulepani in Beshisahar Municipality-3.
The village offers stunning sunrise, sunset views and the Himalayas view. One can witness long ridges of the himalayan mountains from Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Lamjung, Peak 29, Gangapurna, Manaslu to Buddha Himal from Kaulepani area.
Similarly, there is a an old historical palace in the village. The palace is five hundred years old built by King Yashobramha Shah. In addition other important heritage at the top the village is Puranokot fort (1,950 m).
Main attraction of the village and surrounding area are Lamjung Kalika, Kaulepani Devi and herbal plants. Bird watching can be sighted around the village. Pheasant and Spiny Babblar are widely birds found in the area.
Kaulepani is suitable place where rural lifestyle can be studied. Homestay was launched here from January 1, 2011. Accommodation and food is provided in 14 houses of Gurung and Newar communities with 84 beds available. The villagers welcome guests in a friendly atmosphere.
It is a customary to welcome guest with garland of love. Organic dishes are cooked and served in the homestay.
Ghatu, Kaura and Chutka dances are performed in community building in the evening as per the demand of the guests.

Kathmandu-Beshishahar 172 km, 4 hours by bus. Beshisahar-Kaulepani road 8 km, 5.5 km footpath. The bus to Kaulepani is in operation from Beshishahar.
