Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. Before Mt. Everest was declared as the highest mountain, Kanchenjunga was believed to be the highest. It is a challenging 8,000 m peaks in Nepal. It has been a popular achievement to scale before attempting Mt. Everest. Technically it is a challenging mountain to climb. Kanchenjunga was first climbed in 1955 by a British expedition.
Trekking to Everest is a wonderful time to enjoy some of the best mountain sceneries on earth and meet the famous ethnic people of Sherpa and. An interesting flight in the mountains will take you to the Everest Trail and the alpine world. You can reach perhaps the highest viewpoint in the world to view some of the most brilliant views of mountains including Mount Everest. It is a learning opportunity to observe the alpine of life and the Buddhist way of life. Mani walls (prayer wheel) and chhorten and monasteries are seen during the trek. Sacred lakes, waterfalls, and glaciers would meet you regularly during the trek. You will see highland people doing their daily life and observe how friendly people can be despite the challenges in the highlands and the basic amenities they have.
Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and welcomed by a guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel where the guide would brief the trekking program. You may have some time, depending upon your time of arrival, to explore areas near to the hotel.

Set off after an early breakfast for a scenic drive westwards. During the drive through numerous villages and rice fields and we often see mountains on the way. Reach the town. Walk around the town and the headquarter of Lamjung District. Stay in Besi Sahar

The road after Besi Shahar is graveled and but not blacktopped. Drive to Chyamche Village in the Marsyangdi Valley. After lunch in Chyamche, we cross Marshyangdi River, then gentle ascending trek through the bamboo forest in the narrow valley to reach a beautiful Gurung village of Tal in Manang district. We see a lot of lungtas, prayer wheels and mani walls in the area.

Begin trek along the Marshyangdi River and a few suspension bridges and reach Dharapani. We leave Annapurna trail and begin to trek to Manaslu trekking trail. It is an old trade route between Nepal and Tibet.
Gentle ascent to Tilche village. It is another beautiful Gurung village. After lunch in Tilche, we reach Goa in a couple of hours. We trek through the forest in the way. Stay in Goa.

Begin trek to Bhimtang. Gentle ascent through the forest to Yak Kharka. After lunch, ascend till Bhimtang through the rhododendron and pine forest.
We see the peaks of Larke, Manaslu, Himalchuli and Cho Himal on the way. It is a beautiful settlement with good views of mountains. We prepare ourselves for the challenging trek tomorrow and take proper rest.

Early morning trek to Samdo. Steep ascent till Larke La pass. We cross the challenging pass of Larke La Pass from where we see the breathtaking views of mountains around. We will have a packed lunch enroute. Gentle descent over the trail and moraine to reach Samdo.

Begin trek to Sama Gaon. It is an easy descending trek through the juniper trees in the Budi Gandaki Valley. We see a lot of mountains and yaks during the day.
Sama Gaon is a village near the Tibetan border and a good place for rest, preparation and acclimatization.

A day of rest, acclimatization and exploration. Possibility of visits to school, monastery and authentic village of Tibetan influence.
Trek to the Base Camp of Manaslu. A day of ascending trek to Base Camp for a few hours. On the way, we see the Birendra Lake, glacier of Manaslu and mountains around.

Ritual ceremonies or puja, climbing preparation, practice climbing, hiking, a lot of rest, before summiting touch camp 1 and camp 2, rest to acclimatize, depending upon weather we plan summiting the peak of Mt Manaslu in a favorable day. Communication
After a late breakfast, we start packing for back home. Rest and enjoy the mountain. In the evening, it is a time to celebrate the successful summit of Manaslu with the climbing team and the kitchen crew.
